Studied - IIRV Level 3, with Escalla

Elizabeth got a job as a caseworker at Lewes District Council.

Liz said: "I'm sad to leave Brighton & Hove City Council behind and the team I have worked with, but I am looking forward to learning some new things and hopefully remaining in contact with the team I've worked closely with."

Local Taxation Apprentice

Studied - IIRV qualification, Level 3 at City College

Following Will's appreticeship he has got a job at Lewes District Council as a Revenues and Benefits caseworker.

Will said: "I'm really happy that my time at Brighton & Hove City Council, and passing my qualification, has enabled me to get this job and I would encourage others to go down the apprenticeship route."

Rosie O'Connor

Cultural apprentice

Studied - Business and Administration, level 3 at City College

Following Rosie's apprenticeship with The Royal Pavilion and Museums she landed herself her current job with Brighton Dome & Festival as an Administrative Assistant.

Rosie, said: "“I have had a wonderful two years working for the Royal Pavilion Museums and have been given so many incredible opportunities. I’ve worked on a huge variety of projects, including building exhibitions and delivering the schools programme, and have been able to develop a wide range of skills under the guidance of my team.

"The apprenticeship provided a great structure for my training and gave me solid standards for workplace knowledge which will be very helpful in my career.
My confidence in the workplace has massively increased and I’ve gained a real understanding of how the Arts & Cultural sector works. 

"My apprenticeship has given me the qualifications and high quality experience needed to stay in this competitive sector and I can’t wait to start my new role with Brighton Dome & Festival.” 

Kelly Butler

Human Resources apprentice

Studied - Business admin, level 5 at Chichester College

Following Kelly's apprenticeship with Human Recources she landed herself her current job with the Organisational and Workforce Development team as an Administrator, at Brighton & Hove City Council. 

Kelly, said: "Working in the HR department as an Apprentice has been such a great experience. I have been lucky enough to work with all teams in HR, which I feel gave me the confidence, knowledge and experience needed when applying for this particular role.

"I am thankful to everyone in the HR department for teaching me everything I need to know about Human Resources, and ensuring that I gain valuable skills and knowledge for future employment."

Lucy Strutt

Human Resources apprentice

Studied - Business admin, level 5 at Chichester College

Following Lucy's apprenticeship with Human Resources she landed herself her current job with an Occupational Health Company as an Human Recourses Administrator.

Lucy, said: "My apprenticeship has really helped me, I have got the skills and experience that has got me into my new job in human resources, which has given me the begining of my career."

IT apprentice

Studied - ICT Proffessional Competence, level 2 at Brighton City College.

Bio:I work in a School within the IT Department where we support anything that has a plug, from tablets to aervers. I am passionate about web technology and computer systems.

Ellie Bacon

Communications apprentice

Studied - NCTJ Journalism diploma, level 3 at Lambeth College, Clapham.

Bio: Born and raised in Brighton. I have always had a passion for photography and media, studying them both and school and college. Before my apprenticeship I worked as a runner for Dunelm Mill's first Television advert, August 2013. In my spare time I like to take photos and spend time with friends and family. 

Kynan Kelly

Business Admin apprentice

Studied - NVQ Level 2 at Brighton City College

Bio: A local Brightonian. I love playing and watching football and of course a Brighton Fan. I like to go out and socialise with friends and family. I would ideally like to travel within the next 3 years around Asia.
